College of Education
Like a flash of light, a session went by as I joyfully taught my students. Being at Oyo State College of Education really excited me. Other teaching staffs were really happy for the accomplishment. None, even, thought it necessary for me to apply for a leave with or without pay. The fact was that I had to go to School so I left. That was why I was given fresh appointment after my youth service under the National Youth Service Corps scheme instead of re-absorption. Consequently I lost that one year as part of my record though its memory can never be erased in my life and in my heart.
It is noteworthy that for the entire initial requirement for me to resume I had enough savings totaling N300.00, which was enough for my first year in School. All that happened for the rest of the years may form another story of my life in another book. I went through this training between September 1980 and July 1983. By this time, I was married to ‘Jesus’ and my ‘books’. I was much focused and knew what I wanted. I used my time to serve God and humanity. I had time for evangelism and fellowship with brethren. I had good friends like Tola Adeyemo, now, Bamidele, Peju Adelodun , Sister Yemisi Faniyan, now, Ayanleke, Sister Ayo Biya, Rev. Yinka Eniade, Brother Mike Ayodele, Akin Oladele, David Omidiran, Gideon Babalola to mention a few. This gave me added advantage to do well in my academics. To be contd.
